In 2012, the Cunill Company celebrates its 55
years in the world of coffee with the launch of a
world innovation called
“LUXO HERITAGE ALUMINIUM 55dB” based on
a historical design of his father, Pedro Cunill,
whose patent goes back to 1957.
It is an exclusive design that combines the
heritage of the brand with a high contemporary
design, incorporating the most advanced silent
system. It is unique in the world in operating at
only 55dB.
Everything began in 1977, when Joel learned all
the secrets of the design and manufacture of
coffee grinders working as an apprentice with
his father in the Manresa factory. In 1990 Joel
Cunill took up the baton until today, allowing his
hobby to become his way of life.
To celebrate its 55th anniversary, the company
looks back at its history, reinterpreting a 1957
design called “MOLIBAR”. Presenting the new
grinder “LUXO HERITAGE ALUMINIUM” a
homage to honour the man who began building
a coffee dynasty that is today known around
